Paperwork and Dental History
The doctor will review your or your child’s complete dental and medical history when considering treatment options. You complete your paperwork before your appointment by pre-registering through our secure online Patient Registration Form.
Oral Exam & Scans/X-rays
During the next part of your appointment, your orthodontist will thoroughly examine your teeth and jaw to identify needed orthodontic corrections. We use advanced orthodontic technology to help us customize your treatment. Additionally, we will look for any issues not covered in your records and see if dental work may be required before orthodontic treatment can begin.
Treatment Plan & Questions
After reviewing your records and performing an exam, your orthodontist will outline the available treatment options for your unique needs. During this conversation, the doctor will detail the issues that need to be corrected, the method or methods used for treatment, how long treatment may take, and the estimated cost for each treatment option.
This portion of the complimentary exam is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have. We want our patients to feel informed and confident before making any decisions about their treatment.
Insurance and Payment Options
Once we determine your treatment options, our team will give you an estimate of the treatment costs and review your insurance benefits. We are dedicated to helping maximize your benefits and will file any paperwork on your behalf.
